Janice Mulligan is an Individual, Couple and Family Therapist at The
Redpath Centre and a Social Worker at The Hospital for Sick Children. With 20 years experience, Janice has been employed
in various settings including child development, children's mental health, and pediatric and adult health care. She has worked
with various populations with a specific interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Epilepsy, and other chronic conditions
including Diabetes and Arthritis.
Janice has extensive experience
with individuals, couples and families who are managing the impact of Autism Spectrum Disorder or Epilepsy in their lives.
She has offered support in adjusting to diagnosis, managing ongoing social, emotional and behavioural challenges, exploring
lifestyle changes, and advocating for necessary supports within a complex service system. Her work often includes collaboration
with schools and the larger community. Janice has been invited to present on ASDs and Epilepsy, written scholarly articles,
developed and moderated online courses through SNOW (special needs opportunity windows) and co-wrote educational information
on ASD and Epilepsy for the About Kids Health Hospital for Sick Children website.
