Michael Shaughnessy is an Individual, Couple and Family Psychotherapist at The Redpath Centre. Over the past
twenty years, he has worked with adolescents and young adults with serious mental health difficulties, including depression,
ADD, anxiety spectrum disorders, and OCD. He has extensive experience in working with families confronted with "parent-adolescent
conflict." He is a speaker on adolescent mental health, depression and anxiety disorders, youth with psychosis and young
adults with adjustment difficulties in school and university. Mr. Shaughnessy also provides clinical consultation to children's
mental health centres. He is the former Clinical Director of Central Toronto Youth Services, which supports adolescents and
young adults with a wide range of mental illnesses and co-morbid conditions.
