Dr. Kevin Stoddart is the Director of The Redpath Centre (Toronto and London Ontario)
and Adjunct Professor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. He has worked in the fields of
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), developmental disabilities, and child and adult mental health. For the last twenty years,
his clinical focus has been children, youth and adults with "mild ASDs" (primarily Asperger Syndrome) and the co-morbid
social and mental health problems that affect them.
Dr. Stoddart's research and publications centre on understanding
the clinical and psychosocial needs of individuals living with ASDs, developmental disabilities, and their families. He edited
the first Canadian multidisciplinary book on Asperger Syndrome- "Children, Youth and Adults with Asperger Syndrome: Integrating
Multiple Perspectives" (2005). His second book with Drs. Burke and King entitled "Asperger Syndrome in Adulthood:
A Comprehensive Guide for Clinicians" was published by Norton Professional Books (2012). Dr. Stoddart also consults to
organizations in the areas of program development and evaluation and is involved with various community-based practice and
policy committees at the local, provincial and national levels with the aim of promoting more effective and responsive service
systems for individuals with ASDs.
